We are thankful!

Last week was a short week but we packed a lot in, including learning about families, an all-school assembly, and reading books about thankfulness like Bear Says Thanks. We talked a lot about gratitude, and wrote books based on Todd Parr's I Am Thankful. The books turned out great, and it was fun to see what the kids were thankful for. Also, I want to say how thankful I am to have such a wonderful class of kindergarteners! They are kind, sweet, funny, and generous, and it's so much fun to learn alongside them. A copy of this poem should have gone home in your child's Friday folder last week. If you didn't get one, let me know!
